Tear along the edges

Zerocalcare is one of Italy’s most beloved cartoonists and his first animated series has arrived on Netflix: “Tear Along the Edges” is a physical and moral journey in search of the meaning of the events that happen to people, where laughter often gives way to reflection.

The launch campaign was done in full Zerocalcare style, enhancing the author’s writing, empathy and depth of thought: insights and daily torments were disseminated throughout the city of Rome in the form of billboards, giving rise to a veritable domination of the Capital, from Termini Station to the Rebibbia metro.

Much more than a multi-subject, a different text for each space for a total of 20 specially developed vignettes in which the protagonist breaks the fourth wall, addressing the audience directly and intercepting location-specific insights.
